St. Louis Soccer Association (SLYSA)

The league has grown from 500 youth players to over 15,000 boys and girls representing over 1000 teams. Many of the SLYSA teams have won Regional and National Championships. SLYSA has also furnished colleges, US National, World Cup, professional and amateur teams in many parts of the country and world with outstanding players that started their soccer careers with this organization.
SLYSA is completely self-funded and only receives revenue from league fees, advertising fees, and donations. The organization owns it’s own soccer complex located at 3901 Huster Rd. in St. Charles county. The facility consists of 104 acres of land and has 17 fields. It is the largest soccer complex in the St. Louis area. The multi-million dollar complex was created by and is owned by the member clubs and teams.
Girls Academy – Aspire- GIRLS PROGRAM
ASPIRE introduces a performance-driven model where clubs must apply and meet specific criteria for acceptance, ensuring that every team competes at the appropriate level while upholding the highest standards of player and club development. By implementing this rigorous evaluation process, ASPIRE guarantees that only clubs meeting competitive, operational, and developmental benchmarks gain entry, preserving the integrity, ambition, and purpose of the league.
ASPIRE offers a high-intensity competitive platform that challenges players to develop both technically and tactically while preparing them for collegiate opportunities. The structured merit-based system incentivizes club growth and excellence, allowing teams and individuals to be rewarded for their performance and development. Additionally, ASPIRE will serve as a platform for coaching, refereeing, and administrative development, fostering a professional and structured environment that enhances the quality of the game.
Elite Academy – BOYS PROGRAM
The Elite Academy League is composed of member clubs that represent Elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the standard and will benefit from being part of this platform. By unifying clubs from within the conferences, we have maintained the defining standards of previous elite platforms with a collective approach to making sure the platform sits atop the youth landscape.
The Elite Academy League has a mission to provide a National platform with a standards based league giving clubs the ability to provide full developmental model and pathway with top competition and exposure.
National League 1 – GIRLS & BOYS PROGRAMS
Starting with the 2026-27 season, the National 1 League (N1) is a new, premier, team-based youth soccer platform in the U.S. created by merging US Club Soccer’s NPL and USYS National League. It aims to reduce travel costs, unify competitive pathways, and provide a direct route to ECNL Regional League playoffs, serving over 10,000 teams and 150,000 players.
Comprised of eight regional conferences (e.g., Northwest, Midwest, Southeast) designed to maximize local, dense competition, limiting long-distance travel to select showcases and post-season events.
Mid American Developmental League (MADL) – BOYS & GIRLS PROGRAMS
The Mid-American Developmental League is a league hosted by Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) working in cooperation with Kansas State Youth Soccer Association (KSYSA) and Illinois Youth Soccer (IYSA). The league is a promoting part of United States Youth Soccer (USYS).
